"There's a Person in the Womb!"
This quote to me sums up
the abortion issue. The assumption is made that human life is sacred
and is worthy of protection. The question then becomes, when does a
person become a person?
When you look at human
development in the womb, the baby is formed early and continues to
develop until birth. Almost all agree that babies shouldn't be killed
after birth. Where along the line is ok to kill the baby?
- The day before birth?
- Two days before birth?
- Three days before birth?
You can go back in time by seconds but it is a continuum up until fertilization.
Use the Drop down capability under the "Its A Child!" link above.
Please read the speeches by
Henry Hyde, examine the development of humans by taking a look through
the "Window to the Womb" and lastly, take a look at the surgery that was
done on a 21 week old baby in the womb (Caution: Operation Pictures).
It
is a very difficult issue but let us sacrifice together to do what is
right. Let our civilization be judged by how we treat the weakest of
our society.
